Welcome to Leirdalen Bre og Juv!

We are offering glacier walking, canyoning, fishing and mountain walks in the Sognefjord region, close to the Jotunheimen national park, and the Jostedal gacier national park.  

With activities as glacier walks at the Jostedal glacier, canyoning in the river Leirdøla, fishing in the glacier lake in Tusbergdalen, and mountain walks in and around the Jostedal glacier national park, Leirdalen Bre og Juv can offer activities for the whole family.

From our base in Leirdal next to Jostedal, in the end of Sognefjord, we take small groups on tour in the remote glacier area in and around the Jostedal glacier national park.

Leirdal – between mountains, the fjords and the glacier

In the end of Sognefjord, were the fjord meets the mountains in Jotunheimen, and the blue ice from the Jostedal glacier, the mountain village Leirdal is placed. Her, between the fjord and the glacier, people have been living doing hunting, farming and fishing since the early 1800’s. The people living here now often have other jobs as well as the farming.
